VanCore combines open‑source Home Assistant software with custom hardware to create a plug‑and‑play automation system for van life and off‑grid environments. The system features an AI‑powered interface that helps users build automations using natural language, making advanced home automation accessible to complete beginners.
I’m currently developing prototypes through a network of freelancers and manufacturers, learning the full spectrum of bringing both hardware and software products to market. This project serves as the foundation for my planned year‑long van life journey across the USA, where I’ll test and refine the system in real‑world conditions while completing my degree online.
